Responsibilities:

  • Establishing personal goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity and devising strategies to meet those goals.
  • Maintaining product knowledge of new and pre-owned inventory; understanding vehicle features and describing their benefit to customers.
  • Demonstrating automobiles by explaining characteristics, capabilities, and features; participating in test drives, comparing competitive models, explaining warranties and services.
  • Prospecting and following up daily for potential customers. Maintaining consistent rapport with previously sold customers.
  • Learning to overcome objections, asking for the sale, negotiating the sale, completing lease and purchase agreements, explaining warranties, services, and other dealership products.
  • Following dealership safety policies and procedures.

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience as an automobile salesperson.
  • Confidence in your ability to be successful.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Professional appearance and outstanding work ethic.
  • Great attitude with a high-energy personality.
  • Superior customer service skills.
  • A desire to work in a commission, performance-based, environment.
  • Self-starter and self-motivated.
  • Ability to work well in a process-driven environment
